WSAU reports that police have finally identified a 30-year-old Wasau man as a suspect in last week’s hit-and-run of an Antigo bicyclist. According to WSAU, “The suspect is in custody in the Langlade County jail awaiting formal charges. He could make an initial appearance Monday.”
Police located the driver of a Honda SUV that had damage matching the predictions police had made. The bicyclist, 26-year-old Tim Wissbrocker, improved from critical to fair condition at the Wasau-Aspirus Hospital.
Family members had offered a reward of $10,000 for an arrest. So far, no one has claimed the reward.
